Expands in Ireland
Triangle, one of Ireland’s leading independent ICT providers, today announced the acquisition of Kerna Communications, a leading indigenous provider of cybersecurity, networking and managed services solutions. Simultaneously, the company announced the expansion of its Irish presence with the recruitment of 20 new positions in its managed services division and the opening of new headquarters in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. The combined business will have annual revenue in excess of €26m and over 100 employees in 2019.
The acquisition brings complementary security, networking and managed services solutions to Triangle, a strong client base and a talented team of highly skilled security and networking professionals. Alan Byrne, MD of Kerna will take up the position of Director of Technology in Triangle. It is another steady step in Triangle’s journey to deliver secure, progressive managed services solutions in complex environments among its enterprise customer base.“Kerna Communications is of course already well known to us as a leading security and networking services partner and they have the deep skills expected by our enterprise customers today,” explains Kieran McCabe, Managing Director at Triangle.
